1) Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any courses, communities, or services provided by RevenueForge Journalism School (“we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to these Terms of Service and to applicable Canadian law. If you are under the age of majority in your province or territory, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agrees to these terms on your behalf.
2) Accounts and Access
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it. We may suspend or terminate access if we detect misuse, fraud, or policy violations.
3) Payments and Refunds
- Unless otherwise posted at checkout, tuition and fees are due in full at enrollment or per the payment plan you select.
- Refunds: within 14 days of purchase if you have accessed less than 20% of the course’s lessons, downloads, or assessments. We determine usage through system logs.
- Non-refundable items include completed coaching calls, certification exams already taken, and third-party pass-through fees.
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days.
4) Student Conduct
- No harassment, discrimination, doxxing, or threats.
- No plagiarism, exam cheating, or unauthorized sharing of course answers.
- No uploading malware, scraping, or reverse engineering our platform.
- Keep peer communities constructive and professional; follow moderator directions.
5) Intellectual Property and License
All course content, including videos, text, slides, assignments, and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access materials for your personal, educational use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, republish, or resell materials without written permission.
6) Privacy
We collect and use personal information according to our privacy practices, which align with Canadian privacy principles. We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, analytics, and security.
7) Third‑Party Services
We may integrate tools from third parties. Those providers are solely responsible for their services and terms. Your use of such tools is at your risk.
8) Disclaimers
Courses are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee specific career outcomes or earnings. From time to time, maintenance or outages may affect availability.
9) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the services will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 6 months preceding the claim.
10) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these terms or misuse of the services.
11) Termination
We may suspend or terminate access immediately for policy violations, suspected fraud, or unlawful activity. You may stop using the services at any time. Sections that by nature should survive (e.g., IP, payments, disclaimers, liability) will continue to apply after termination.
12) Changes to Terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in law or services. Material changes will be signaled on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes becomes effective constitutes acceptance.
13) Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein. The parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts located in Toronto, Ontario.
